A reminder that the Good Book Club meets tomorrow, Feb 22 at 10:00am and next Tuesday Feb 27 in the Fireside Room.  The Good Book for this month is “Ruth”.

Parish/Community Announcements


The Good Book Club – The monthly Good Book Club will meet on Thursday February 22nd at 10:00 a.m. and on Tuesday February 27th at 7:00 p.m. in the Fireside room.  This month’s book is Ruth.


Fundscript – The next order is due on March 5, 2018 for delivery on March 11, 2018.  Completed forms and payment may be given to Margret Sweetlove, Jan Graham, or the office.  Thank you for your support.  Our current earnings are over $15,600.00.


Burlington Seniors Community Inc. — is an incorporated not-for-profit, task orientated, seniors advocacy group, who work to “Support the well-being of Burlington’s diverse and growing Senior community.  Your input is requested for two projects they would like to sponsor.  The first project is for accessibility to Senior specific Exercise Equipment in outside Social Spaces (and they are willing to put helpl fund this project).  The second project, currently in the pilot stage is Seniors Without Walls.  This project offers twice weekly interactive information and chat sessions and is designed to activate isolated seniors using their home telephones, free of charge.  Information pamphlets and a short 2 minute Survey to gather your opinions are on the table in the Narthex.  The completed survey may be left in the envelope provided, or completed on-line at:  www.burlingtonsc.org.  For more information contact Connie Price, 905-516-5157 or cprice3@cogeco.ca
